Musical Theatre Choreographer/Dance Teacher

Hiring Company: Infinity Arts Academy

Seeking applicants for after school programs, with significant skills in Musical Theatre dance and choreography. In addition to choreographing musical numbers and teaching them to students, we work in a team teaching environment, meaning each teacher is expected to assist other teachers with classroom management as well as keeping students involved and on task. Please indicate if you have access to a vehicle for transportation.

Requirements:

  • Professional or scholarly experience in choreography and/or dance.

  • Experience working with children, is a plus.

  • Ability to work in a team teaching environment and willingness to go above and beyond just choreographing.

  • A passion for musical theatre, dance, and shaping young performers!

Responsibilities:

Choreographers are responsible for choreographing musical numbers and teaching them to a group of students in a timely and efficient manner. Classroom management skills are a must. Time management is of the essence, with limited rehearsals and a lot to accomplish!
